Workshop to experience the Social significance of Asana practice
Yoga practice is for the social soul not the isolated physical body.
A yoga pose is a movement exercise, which expresses beneficial qualities.
These qualities not only support the physical body, but also the inner life.
Hence, a yoga pose has social significance that supports us in our everyday lives.
-
In this 2 hour workshop we will practice lots of asana to experience the difference between asana practice that offers a social potential and one which is more isolated & bound to the body.
-
We will consider the movement qualities that relate to the 7 cakra,
-
and how to express these through asana practice.
